New carbon-fibre grabrails from Båtsystem

The new modular grab rails by Båtsystem consist of no more than 6 modules, including two types of end fittings in stainless steel, three different lengths of the carbon tube and a T-coupling for an optional extension.

The two types of end fittings are either for mounting the grab rail at a right angle to the surface or a 90° fitting for parallel mounting to the surface. This way, the grab rail may be fitted directly onto a bulkhead. As an additional feature, mounting can be done in two different ways: Either, by means of two countersunk screws from above or, alternativally, with an 8mm bolt from underneath which is screwed into the integraded invisible thread inside the foot of each end fitting and T-fitting. The latter gives a smart looking and elegant installation without any visible screwheads.

Carbon tubes are supplied in three lengths that can be shortened to desired length: 125 mm for a single-hand grab, 250mm and 500mm. The tubes can be shortened by someone who knows how to cut and re-seal carbon fibre and easily extended by the customer by means of the T-couplings as needed. Maximum length between end fittings or T-couplers respectively is 500 mm. Total length is indefinite.
